The hotel's location on the outskirts of the city bordered by countryside provided a quiet and peaceful retreat. The cleanliness of the hotel facilities, including the swimming pool, was impeccable. The staff at the reception were exemplary, providing excellent service throughout my stay. Additionally, the hotel offered nice walks around the area, allowing me to enjoy the natural surroundings.

It is close to the center of the historic city and even has bicycles that could get a rider into the center in a few minutes.
They have a regional problem with mesquitos. The room was also infested and had ants on the table. The bathroom had a constant stench of lit cigarettes and didn't go away. Because I'm allergic to the burning of the chemical in the cig. Paper, this caused burning eyes and breathing problems. Together with the burning of chemical strips to rid the room of mesquitos, this was a bit much.

Booked hotel because of swimming pool.
Staff were nice but no room service when we arrived at apron 12am. Food in restaurant was poor quality and bad value for money. Hotel badly needs updating. Swimming pool to dirty to swim in. I was quite disappointed with hotel location too. Was not explained enough when booking. No footpath even to bus stop.

Had a wonderful Xmas break full of fun and relaxation. the hotel's location was perfect, a short walk from the main attractions of the city and also very well connected by public transport. the breakfast offerings were very good, with fresh bread, cheese, ham, crossoints.
The bathroom was quite small and outdated, though clean and provided us with everything we needed. the pool was not available during this time of year.

Just the location
The waiters at the restaurant at the hotel were rude and treated Americans like dirt while they were were jovial and friendly with the Italians. We spent 3 weeks driving from England, France and down to Italy and we never had any problems except for here: the waiter didn't want to answer questions and threw his pad of paper down on the table and told the younger waiter that he can't deal with us.It was totally embarrassing. I went into the hotel and complained to the management and they did nothing-not even apologize! We paid cash for dinner that evening and guess what...they billed me again for that on the hotel room and because I didn't take a receipt for the cash we paid I ended up paying twice!!! Stay away from this place-awful experience in what was a great trip!!!

Quiet and very relaxing with large outdoor swimming pool. Reception staff very helpful and restaurant staff/ housemaids really friendly. Couldn't fault the hotel for value for money and cleanliness of accommodation. Not sure if it would be classed as four star in UK but, having stayed in several other Italian hotels we do believe that it warrants it's four stars there. There is an excellent pizzeria accross the road with a large supermarket adjacent to it and a tobacconist/ cafe nearby. Public transport links are very good with a bus to Pisa, which takes about 10 minutes, every 20 minutes or so. The same bus will take you to the airport for EUR 1.10 but you should allow about an hour as rush hour traffic can be abit chaotic.
Could do with having an eccess path cut imto the perimeter hedge as there is no pavement leading to the nearest bus stop which is on an extremely busy road.

We had a pleasant stay at the hotel during our New Year's trip. The location was great as it was conveniently located near the major attractions, making it easy for us to explore the city. The hotel also offered a shuttle service, which was a bonus for us as we had a lot of luggage and it saved us the hassle of carrying them around. the hotel had a beautiful pool that we absolutely enjoyed, especially during the warm weather.
There were a few downsides during our stay. The hotel rooms were a bit small, which meant we had to get two rooms for our family.

Free private parking, good breakfast, clean toilet, good value for money. Good for those driving as located bit outskirt. But overall, location not too far from city attraction.
Carpet looks not too clean.
